Christmas is a season of preparation. We prepare our homes, meals, and gifts to celebrate the birth of Jesus. But Christmas also points us to another advent—Jesus' return. In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus shares a series of parables that help to remind us of the importance of being spiritually prepared for His second coming.
